DESNA has made a scene again in California! This time at the city of stars – Los Angeles.

On August 21, 2011 We put on a show at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre for the 20th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. Hollywood was a mere 3 U of T campuses away.

Although we saw no Ryan Gosling or Johnny Depp in a pirate costume, DESNA enjoyed the windy pacific beach in Malibu at a birthday party with the coolest people from Metro Goldwyn Mayer.

The four days passed like a breeze and dazed us with warm memories. Enough to fuel us for the winter!
